It is located on 9.5 beautifully wooded acres, and is minutes away from shopping, fine dining and is an easy commute to Chicago. Lake Barrington Woods offers the advantage of a rental contract, with no steep, up-front entrance fee. They offer 26 different floor plans! In Independent Living they offer 1 bedroom, 1 bedroom + den and 2 bedroom 2 full bath apartments, ranging from 610 sq. ft. to 1440 sq. ft. Each apartment has a full kitchen; most have walk-in closets, walk-in showers, and an emergency call system. Assisted Living options are a studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, 2 full bath, and semi-private options ranging from 448 sq. ft. to 764 sq. ft. Each unit has a kitchenette and a walk-in shower.
Each Assisted Living units feature "Quiet Care" a monitoring system that allows seniors to maintain their privacy and independence while providing caregivers additional information for personal care. Lake Barrington Woods is 4 stories; the main level features the concierge desk which is staffed 24/7; dining, swimming, programming, billiards room with fireplace and bar, an outdoor patio with a natural water feature and lush landscaping, a card room, community room, beauty/barber salon, physician’s office, private dining room, grille for casual dining with store, library with computer lab, fitness center and pool. The top floors provide the apartments for privacy.
