Sugarland Hill is one of Northern Virginia’s most modern “active senior’s communities” in western Fairfax County, for residents age 62 or older. Our goal is to be able to make each of our resident’s relocation as easy, secure and rewarding as possible, and to keep their long-term retirement "truly independent!”

Sugarland Hill provides a comfortable style of living, with many activities and recreational areas, yet plenty of privacy.  Our residents love our activities director, (“Mina”) who helps residents make friends easily and enjoy the level of involvement they desire.   We have a secure residential atmosphere here with a concierge on duty, 7-days a week, to answer questions and help new residents learn their way around.

Our 14-passenger van (with wheelchair lift) takes residents anywhere within a 12-mile radius, during normal business hours, at no cost.  Our activities director, Mina, also takes residents on the van to shopping, movies, luncheons, and other excursions.

Activity areas here include our fully-equipped exercise room, crafts room, woodworking room, large library, party room (with wet bar), billiards lounge, ping-pong lounge, TV lounges, quilting, bingo, bridge, book club, business center with high-speed internet, and 4^th floor screened porch (overlooking Sugarland Run Stream Valley Park).   Our large, secured back yard & patio offers shuffleboard, barbeque, putting green, gardening and much more. 

Our location west of Washington, D.C., where Fairfax County meets Loudoun County, affords our residents and families immediate access to adjacent shopping at The Towne Shopping Center of Sterling & Sugarland Crossing Shopping Center.  Sugarland is  convenient to the modern medical facilities at Reston Hospital Center and Inova-Loudoun Hospital Center. 

All of our apartments are among the largest seniors apartments in Northern Virginia, and are bright and cheerful, with 9’ceilings.  All contain fully equipped kitchens (with full-sized appliances), generous solid cherry cabinets plus a pantry for storage. All have their own laundry room with full-sized washer and dryer pyus storage shelves.

In the event residents desire help with meals, we provide a free continental breakfast for our residents every weekday morning, plus we offer catered evening meals from local restaurants, on weeknights, (with no delivery fee and no tip).
