Emeritus at
West Orange is a senior living community tucked away outside New York City. We
are less the one mile away from shopping, restaurants, movies, and more. We’re
also just minutes away from the Garden State Parkway.
The
building is conveniently located 30 minutes from NYC, and we have a wonderful
view of the local golf course. Our residents enjoy a wide variety of daily
activities such as morning exercise, word games, socials, happy hour, Bingo,
arts and crafts, discussion groups, Internet classes with Connected Living,
outings within the community, family nights, holiday parties, and much more.
The community hosts local events monthly and partners with local merchants to
bring both educational and recreational events to the residents and surrounding
community.

We also offer three different styles of senior apartments. Our studio is
perfect for someone living on their own and who loves a cozy place to call
home. Our one bedroom is great for someone looking for a bit more space, or who
is looking to move in with a spouse. And finally, our one bedroom with two bath
for those who want much more room. All of our senior apartments come with their
own kitchenette consisting of a microwave, refrigerator, freezer, sink, and
plenty of cabinet space.
Our
beautiful senior living community has 105 apartments on two floors overlooking
the fairways of the Essex County Golf Course, New Jersey’s oldest country club.
Music fills the entry way when you enter our home like community. Whether it to
read a good book, or visit with family and friends, our common areas are great
places where you can put up your feel and relax. At Emeritus in West Orange, we
have a library, cafe, country kitchen, game room, "Town Hall Community
Room", computer lab run by Connected Living, private dining room,
courtyard with a gazebo, walking paths, and bistro. As wonderful as the inside
and outside of our lovely community is, we also have trips off the premises to
diners, shops, the local deli, and so much more. Our goal is to ensure that our
residents enjoy each day, and wake up each morning with something to look
forward to.
